Sake Japanese Restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Portsmouth. Opened in 1996, we are dedicated to serving the freshest seafood, meat, and vegetables to delight every palate. Family owned and operated, Chef Peter-San began his career training in Osaka, Japan and has over 20 years of experience with Japanese cuisine.
 
Sake offers an extensive menu with innovative contemporary dishes along with traditional favorites ranging from sushi, sashimi, tempura, teriyaki, and specialty rolls. Eat-in or takeout we also provide a full bar, private room, and reservations are welcome.
